VectorML - Bitmap to vector conversion and SVG view
You can use VectorML to convert bitmap images to vector format (svg) and to view vector images in SVG format. Based on machine learning and with combined GPU & CPU acceleration.
The software is very easy to use and includes the functionality as follows:
- Bitmap to vector (svg format) conversion with support for most of the popular bitmap formats such as jpg, png, tif, gif, bmp. CPU accelerated with parallel processing. If you select a bitmap file then it will be converted automatically and the resultant svg file will be shown on the screen.
- Fast viewing of svg files with any complexity (combined GPU & CPU acceleration).
- Transformation options such as zoom in/out, pan, rotate.
- Presentation mode, which allows the automatic viewing of several svg files in a folder (the cycle time can be set as desired).
- Visual Browser, which allows to view all svg files in a folder at once.
Usage Tips
- The bitmap to vector (svg) conversion is automatic when you open a bitmap (bmp, png, jpg, tif, ...) instead of an svg file (select the file type at the bottom-right of the open file dialog). You will find the svg file in the same folder where the bitmap is located!
- The machine learning model is initialized with random values, therefore try the bitmap to vector conversion 1-3 times until you get the best result.
- If you only have a few colors in your bitmap then you will get a better result if you decrease the number of colors in the settings (keyboard 's').
- The cycle time for the presentation mode can be set in the settings.
- The despeckle filter and contrast change options in the settings transform the bitmap before it is converted to a vector drawing. Make sure that the size and strength of these transformations is appropriate for your bitmap image.
